IMPORTANT INFORMATION: SECURITY CONTROL STRIKE AT BARCELONA – EL PRAT AIRPORT

We inform of an indefinite strike of the security control’s staff at Barcelona – El Prat airport. We recommend you to go to the airport earlier than usual for check-in and board with enough time . We remind you the boarding gate closes 20 minutes before departure.

Temporary closure of our reservation system by updating.

From Monday 19th of June at 9:30 p.m. until Tuesday 20th of June at 03:00 a.m., our website, mobile portal and apps will not be operational due to updates to our system.
We recommend that our customers with trips scheduled for June 19th and 20th check-in online before the temporary closure of the page to avoid any inconvenience.
During this time it will not be possible to make new reservations, changes to existing reservations or check-in online.
We apologize to our passengers for this inconvenience. This update will allow us to offer our customers a better service.

Information about Champions League Final flights

Due to security measures and the high number of fans who will be travelling on special flights to the Champions League finals to and from Bristol/Cardiff, you should take into account the following special conditions and recommendations so that you arrive on time on your flight and avoid inconvenience.

Special conditions imposed by the authorities:

For all flights with origin or destination UK it is essential to complete the passenger information in advance (API). This information can be completed during the check-in online or in the section API of our web http://www.vueling.com/en/vueling-services/prepare-your-trip/procedures-api-

-If you have not been able to complete the API or check-in online, you will obtain the boarding card at the airport of the outbound flight. In this case it is essential to arrive at the airport 2:30 h in advance.

-In the express request of the authorities, only carry-on baggage may be accepted and baggage check-in is not available.

 

You should also take into account the following recommendations:

-You must take the boarding passes with you both for the outbound flight and for the return flight. You can obtain the check-in online through our website or mobile app.

-It is the responsibility of the passenger to arrive at the airport in advance enough to arrive on time on the flight. We recommend you go to the airport at the end of the game.

Ground staff strike in Berlin

We would like to inform you that a handling strike in Berlin has been confirmed from 10thMarch and planned to last until 14th March 2017. As a result of this strike, we have been forced to cancel some of our flights.

We are working hard to minimise the disruption, and we would like to apologise for this cancellation. We would however like to confirm that it is not necessary for you to go to the airport to make any of these changes. You have seven days from the date of your affected flight to manage your booking.

The following options are available to you:

  • Free change for another flight leaving up to 15 days before or after scheduled departure.
  • Ask refund of affected flight; reimbursements will be made within the next 7 days.

Passengers who are affected by this strike and that have bookings made through www.vueling.com have been notified by e-mail and sms to those contacts showed on booking.

Passengers who are affected by this strike and that have booked through a travel agency or an online travel agency must contact to their customer service team to make any changes or request a refund. Those passengers who have a booking made through Iberia or British Airways in codeshare with Vueling must request any changes or refund directly from that airline.

We kindly ask you to check previously your flight status before going to the airport.

We would like to inform you that an air traffic controllers strike in France is due for from 6th to 10th of March and this causes some restrictions in our operations.
